Benicia Auction Night, September 2009
I was asked to participate to the Auction and donate one of my paintings. I chose the one I had done with encaustics, called “Wine Bottles.” It was a painting done in a wood drawer and was quite fun. It did sell.

Kunstanke and C.C.14
I have been invited to join another art group. It is called Kunstanke and is a small group of women artists getting together for friendship and support through Art exchanges .The web site is : www.kunstanke.com
I also belong to CC14. Another group of Artists (men and women) getting together once a month. We critique each others work and share some good food. I like the diversity in this group: from printmakers to sculptors and painters…We do an annual group show together every summer held at the Diablo Vista College Art Gallery. For more info, check : www.cc14.us
A La Plage

This is the painting that started the “A la plage” series (”At the beach”).
I wanted to capture a brief moment in time. Max was very absorbed playing in the sand, and I thought it might be an interesting composition to paint.
